Lagoon Camp
Lagoon Camp lies on the shady banks of a permanent lagoon formed by the meandering Kwando River in Northern Botswana.
Lagoon Camp has just 6 luxury tents and all the charm of a small authentic safari camp. The camp has a small plunge pool where your family can cool off during the long summer days.
The Kwando Concession is one of the best areas to visit for those who are serious about their safaris. The emphasis is on the wildlife and seeing as many of the varied animals that inhabit the concession which is home to large herds of elephants and buffalo and the predators these big herds attract like cheetah, hyena, lion, leopard and wild dog which have denned near the camp since 1997.
Game viewing is by open safari vehicle or on the water by boat. Walking safaris are seasonal and the bird watching is excellent. You can also try your hand at fishing for bream, tiger fish and pike.
