Kiba Point
Kiba Point sits in a beautiful spot, overlooking the Rufiji River in the Northern Selous, Tanzania. The lodge consists of four elevated, airy, stone and thatched cottages and is one of the best family safari options in Tanzania. The Selous Reserve is the largest in Africa and the second largest protected area in the world.
The cottages are built on raised platforms above the river line. The interiors are spacious, cool and elegant and each cottage has a private plunge pools. The main lodge is the perfect place to relax after adventure filled activities with plump sofas, a library full of books and a bar.
Private guides and vehicles are available to help you make the most of your safari experience, with early morning game drives, guided walking safaris, boating and fishing. Game viewing in the area is superb with large numbers of predators and prey as well as the opportunity to see packs of wild dog. Fly camping is available at an additional supplement.
