Chitabe Lediba Camp
Chitabe Lediba Camp in the Chitabe Concession neighbours the Moremi Game Reserve, nestled between two main river systems in the south-east of the Okavango Delta, Botswana. The Concession consists of 28 000 hectares of the widest range habitats known to the Okavango Delta. The landscape is seasonal and during the flood months the dry plains are transformed into a lush green oasis.Chitabe Lediba offers a classic safari experience. It has five tents built on raised wooden decks, two of which are inter leading and suitable for a couple of families on safari together. The tents are beautifully furnished with comfortable sofas and a well stocked library. The staff are welcoming and cheerful and the guides are highly knowledgeable.
From the camp you can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. By day you will see buffalo, giraffe, elephant, kudu, impala and zebra as well as the predators; cheetah, leopard and lion. Wild dogs are also sometimes spotted in the area. Just after dark you will head out in search of the shy nocturnal animals such as aardvark, civet, genet, serval and porcupine.
From Chitabe Lediba your family can also enjoy walking safaris and you can even request a night sleep out in one of the hides.
